The Martial Artist

A martial artist must train to be fast, powerful, and flexible. The FitWall® allows the artist to isolate muscle groups and drastically improve both power and flexibility.

The Challenge

The challenge that will improve conditioning, form, and balance is to get on the FitWall® and perform all the exercises and forms that you would normally do on the floor or mat. This will force the development of specific muscles and their coordination with each other while also exciting the inner ear and overall balance. Speed things up and improve hand-eye coordination and burn calories while doing what you love, the MARTIAL ART.

Balance

Balance is the core to martial arts, whether static or in motion, but balance without power is ineffective. FitWall® gives the martial artist the ability to train and strengthen motions that he or she would not ordinarily be able to perform without have thing the strength to begin with. Unfortunately, if you can't do it, you can't strengthen it. The best way to build that strength is to get in that position and be able to assist yourself in getting past the sticking points. Very seldom does a martial artist have a spotter or instructor to assist them. On the FitWall®, you can monitor and assist yourself throughout a movement making the exercise much more intuitive.

Motion

Motion comes from power and power comes from the motion in martial arts. Both should be trained together for optimal performance. The FitWall® lets the martial artist go from powerful contractions to explosive extensions. The exercise can incorporate all muscle groups or only a targeted few. FitWall® can also be used to improve cardiovascular conditioning.

The FitWall® Does It All

The FitWall® does it all and takes up very little of the precious floor space in a martial arts school or studio. Space used to exercise on the FitWall® can very easily be reclaimed by storing our FitMats in the upright position. The FitMats are then utilized as impact pads, protecting anyone that may need that space for other exercises.
